Home at First Sight
And somehow you are both
all of me
and something all your own
you are a familiar forest,
yet your trees remain unknown
and the soil that grounds you,
has me too,
tethered here to earth
for we have always been connected
I the south, and you the north.
and though you span a planet wide
and I the same as you,
our souls remain
bordered as one
connected through and through.
So we speak with clouds and waters,
sending signals through the breeze
— swimming in different bodies
connected by the seas.
